Selling my well-loved 2001 BMW Z3 Coupe. It has the 3.0 liter engine, 5-spd manual transmission, and only 101k miles on the clock. Other than the strut bar, everything is stock with zero modifications. Even the stereo is BMW original. This model was from the second to last production year of the Z3, which means this is one of the best Z3 you can buy. BMW produced very few Z3 coupes, making this car a very rare site to see on the road. Although the coupe is rare, it is still very easy to source parts as it shares almost all of it's components with the Z3 roadster. The interior and exterior of the roadster are in fantastic shape as you can see in the pictures. Zero accidents car history, no rust, clean title on hand, and private party sale. This coupe has been extremely reliable. The engine pulls strong without any hiccups or any strange noises. The gearbox shifts into every gear quickly without any grinds. I’ve even upgraded the shift knob to a BMW ZHP weighted shifter to make the gear changes even crisper. The clutch grabs perfectly every time without any slips. The suspension is tight as a BMW should be. Comparing this coupe to my Z3 roadster, the coupe handles much better. Pictures can’t do this car justice. This looks and feels almost like brand new Z3 coupe. There are a few tiny dings and chips on the body, but they are very hard to notice. And most importantly, there's no rust on the car. This coupe has the M appearance package with M-sports seats, and steering wheel. The black interior has been well maintained; leather seats and trim pieces have been conditioned regularly. I am very firm at the price of $15,200 due to it's condition, mileage, and overall rarity. Below is a list of items I recently replaced.Cooling system overhaul - refreshed with new water pump, radiator, thermostat (plus housing), expansion tank, coolant hoses, belts, pulleys, and tensioners @ 100k miles.All fluids - Transmission, differential, brakes, power steering, @ 99k miles. Coolant @ 100k miles. Engine oil replaced every 3k miles.Front brake rotors, front pads, and rear pads replaced at 99k miles. Rear rotors are still good.Front sway bar end links replaced at 99k miles. NGK Iridium spark plugs (6) replaced at 100k miles. 2001 BMW Z3 Roadster 2.5i in mint condition. Only 31,000 miles! This car is all original except for the stereo and floor mats, which I will go into. The oil has been changed twice (per BMW schedule): the first time by BMW, the second time by me using Mobil 1 and a BMW filter. There are no dings that I can find – the body is immaculate. See how many hard tops you can find! They are rare. There are a few rock chips on the front which you can see in the front nose picture. The interior is leather w wood grain, and it's gorgeous – no rips, no tears. Wheels have NO curb rash. Seats are electric.Not original:The black fabric backing on the original floor mats had deteriorated and was making a mess, so I replaced them with BMW mats. Couldn't get the beige anymore, so replaced with black - which I think actually looks very good.The original speaker's foam had deteriorated, so I replaced with Rockford Fosgate front & rear. They fit the original speaker's locations with no modification. The foam on the subwoofer has also deteriorated, but I simply disconnected it. There are repair kits available to fix the stock Harmon Kardon sub for like $24. I disconnected the factory Harmon Kardon amp, but it's still in the car ready for use. I replaced the head unit with a very nice Alpine, but the factory stereo will come with the car.Brand new Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires. Check the reviews, they are excellent. Very quiet, and they don't pull from side to side like the factory ones did.The “bad”The vinyl trim ring around the soft top rear window deteriorated & I pulled it off as it was sticky. Doesn't affect the weather tightness of it, or the looks.
